    Hi there,

    I’m only writing as a last resort. Checked everything even remotely related but couldn’t figure out why my images are blank on social media. There must be something with OG but couldn’t figure it out.

    It seems that something snapped earlier this month as everything was fine before.

    I have tried to disable all plugins and checked with the shortpixel support and the hosting (cloudways) support if there is anything on their side but no luck.

    There is no hotlink protection in place and the Facebook crawlers are not blocked – but again, everything worked until about a month ago and my other site on the hosting has got no issue.

    Relevant plugins on the site:

    Shortpixel AI (the first image is untouched by them)
    Shortpixel IO (the first image is untouched by them)
    WP-Rocket
    Perfmatters
    Rank Math SEO
    Patchstack Security
    SocialSnap

    CDN is Cloudflare

    I tried disabling the above plugins and running it without CDN but the images were still blank so… no clue…

    I’ve checked your site source code, and it seems that there are duplicate og:image and other meta tags being outputted from one of your plugins or theme.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), to determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Also, please ensure that the image you’re using has the recommended image size for social sharing image, which is as close as 1200 x 630 pixels, and the image file format you are using is only between jpeg, gif, or png as per Opengraph Standards:

    I tried it before I submitted the ticket and the problem with it is that if it only changes for me, can not test the changes in the Facebook debugger…

    I think I figured it out, but I still could use some help.

    Checking the debugger data (please check with the URL from sensitive data in the Facebook debugger / scraped URL at the bottom of the page) it seems that the duplicate OG tags are from two different App IDs.

    I assume I have replaced it somehow in Rank Math which caused the duplicate entry. So now only would be great to know how I can get rid of the secondary entries.

    Could deleting the old schema data help?

    This is being caused by the Social Snap plugin that is also outputting meta tags used for the social media platforms.

    We recommend disabling the meta tags generation from this plugin and only using the ones from Rank Math.
