SEO meta data on HOME page keeps disappearing Please help!! I checked firewalls

    Hi – Website is https://internetworld.ca
    I deleted Yoast and Installed Rank upon a referral. I am close to purchasing the full subscription, but this issue is a stumbling point. The meta data on home page edits do not take. The post on blogs all see to take and remain. Just the main pages of the website do not keep my changes.
    I’ve included my login information – and will change this information in a day or so.

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    I can check that you are using Porto on your site. Recently the Porto team made some changes to the way they save the data on the pages and posts and they do that via AJAX requests that don’t hit the default WordPress actions to save the posts, which is what we use to perform our actions.

    Because of this new change in implementation, all plugins that rely on that won’t work.

    Unfortunately, we cannot change that behavior in the theme/page builder so only their developers can ever this so all plugins can hook into the correct WordPress saving actions.

    One of our users has already informed them about the issue and they told him that they will soon release an update to fix it. You can also get in touch with their support to confirm when they are going to release the fix.
