Hello. When I go to “View Source” on one of my pages, the meta description just says <meta name=”description” content=”.”/>. Why doesn’t it contain the meta description wording I input in the classic text editor? An example page is https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/collecting-advice/
I noticed this because semrush.com performed an audit of my website and reported that there are crucial errors with the meta descriptions on my web pages.
Please explain. Thank you.

We can also see the incorrect meta description on the page URL you shared.
If the meta description is already set in the page’s SEO settings and in the global settings of Rank Math, please check if there are other plugins that might be causing this issue. To determine that please refer to this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
