Why is my SEO score different on 2 spots?

    Rank Math free

On the “all pages” view, the SEO score of my homepage displays 48/100. When I click edit to edit the page, the SEO score displays as 94/100.

    Is this a bug?

In this screenshot, you’ll see both SEO scores of 48 and 94 but one is on the all pages and one is on the edit page.

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and Recalculate Scores. We have added this tool to update the score of the posts in bulk. Please use it and see if that resolves the issue. Once done, it should show the same score in the list view as you are seeing while editing the post.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

After clicking recalculate scores, the “all pages” SEO score for my front page is now 23/100 and the “Edit page” still displays 94/100

    Hello,

In this case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
