If you see an error containing “updateMeta”, then your server must be blocking Rank Math’s API. Please refer to this guide to fix it: https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/#firewall

No UpdateMeta errors in the console. There are not even any errors. Only the Permalink field is concerned. All the other fields are well saved except this one.

WordPress doesn’t allow changing the author slug by default.
To change the author slug, please use the following plugin:

That’s exactly what I did. This is the plugin I used to change the slug. But how do you register the new slug in Rank Math in user profile ? When I modify the extract, the recording does not take this new slug into account. And when we save, it reverts to the old value which is no longer valid.

Hello,
Rank Math only displays the default slug of the author. When you change the slug using the other plugin, the updated URL won’t be displayed in the snippet editor. However, the author profile will be accessible on the updated URL.
