Thank you for contacting Rank Math.
You don’t need the PRO plugin to set the canonical. Rank Math automatically adds a self-referring canonical to all the pages/taxonomies that are set to index.
If you want to set a custom canonical, you can set that from the Advanced Tab in the Rank Math SEO Meta Box:
