Conflicting Link score

    Hello,

I am using the #1 Rank Math SEO score and #2 the Content AI score.

    #1 gives me currently 95/100 and #2 71/100.

When it comes to links, in #2 the link count suggests to reduce the external links from 6 to 0.

But when I reduce them, the #1 score goes down.

Is that correct? I mean, it should be 100/100 in both of them, in #1 and #2, no?

    Kind regards,
    Lars

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with using the Content AI together with Rank Math SEO score.

Rank Math SEO uses a set of fixed rules to calculate your score for all users. For example, the SEO score gives all content with more than 2500 words the highest score. The SEO score rules have been observed to work in general for most content on the internet.

Content AI scans the top-ranking posts for a keyword, then sets up a scoring system based on those posts. Content AI might find that most posts for a keyword have a word count of 500, so it will set the highest score for wordcount at 500 instead of 2500 used by SEO score. Similar adjustments will be made on all the scores.

Please note that Content AI and the SEO score are merely recommendations. If you think any of the advice they give does not work for your context, feel free to ignore them.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.
