Excerpt only shows the first line even though it is only 20 characters.

    We recently switched to Rank Math plugin but we have a problem with Excerpt feature for our product descriptions consist of short key points with line breaks between nuggets of information.

    Automatic excerpt feature only pulls in the first line even when it is 5-20 characters.

    This feature should count the first 160 characters within a product description no matter the line breaks it should fill in the required characters by Search Engines.

    I hope you understand what I mean and can fix this in a future update.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with rich snippet product excerpts showing fewer characters than expected.

    I tested product excerpts on my own setup and the first 160 characters were showing for the excerpt. Screenshot:

    Please confirm if you are using a custom source for the excerpt, and/or if you have imported data from another SEO plugin. Please share as much information as possible. You can share screenshots using a tool like imgbb.com, or a screencast using a tool like loom.com.
