GSC: Alternate page with proper canonical tag

    Hello,

    For a site that is well indexed for a long time, I suddenly get notifications from GSC that some pages are not indexed because there is an existing canonical version.

    This is correct and the existing version is the correct one but comes those duplicate files have suddenly appeared from nowhere. All 4 of them have those cryptic slugs:
    …/?tuid%2F7csetubiea38es-10n3b
    —/?fhd%2Ff4hitline6a0d4932134212829
    …/?tuid%2Fe0hakusenc2c7rsm
    …/?igt%2F4dnew-see0drsr-ds03730

    and they correspond to 4 duplicates of main pages of the site, including the homepage.

    Is there anything to inspect or edit?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We can’t tell where or how those URLs are being crawled by Google. You may need to check if those URLs are being added somewhere on your website as links or please check if you have any plugins that might be adding those.

    If you wish to get rid of those URLs, you can do so by adding them to your robot.txt file.
