    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with your content AI not working as expected.

    Please verify you are using Rank Math in advanced mode. To do that, go to Rank Math > Dashboard and at the top right corner, click “Advanced Mode”.

    Next, please go to Rank Math > General Settings > Content AI again.

    Thank you for the reply.

    Yes, it only works when Rank Math Free is activated.

    However, we have both Rank Math Free (activated) and Rank Math Pro (activated, not renewed) so RM Pro is blocking the Content AI feature (or there is a bug) simply because we haven’t renewed RM Pro yet.

    Currently we have the following installed and activated:

    Rank Math Free V1.0.96
    Rank Math Pro V3.0.17

    So, essentially … everything should be working for us, except not receiving updates for Rank Math Pro.

    Please provide a fix and/or report this as a bug.

    In addition to my previous request, can you point me to your website URL or knowledge base article that provides a version compatibility list between Rank Math and Rank Math Pro?

    The Events Calendar (plugin), for example, has to great articles to this effect as noted below.

    There’s a mismatch in the version of the plugins and as such most of the functionality will be blocked because of that.

    If you want to use all the functionality you need to downgrade the Free plugin to version 1.0.94 to match the current PRO version you have installed.

    The Free and PRO plugins always need to be in sync with the version released on the same data that you can see on the changelog: https://rankmath.com/changelog

    Yep, that fixed our issue. We’ll renew our Pro plan next week.

    Meanwhile, is their a Rank Math knowledge base article that talks about what you mentioned? That is, ensure that both the FREE and PRO versions of your plugin are in-sync according to the version release date. We couldn’t find one.

    If not, I believe it would be very helpful to many.

    Hello,

    Only current latest versions of Rank Math and Rank Math PRO are compatible. So for previous versions of Rank Math, you would need to find the version of Rank Math PRO that was released at the same time/window. To do this, you can go to our changelogs: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

    We don’t have a dedicated KB article for version compatibility but you can check our changelog as we release the updates for Free and PRO plugins at the same time. So the compatible versions are the ones that are released on the same date.

    However, this is something we can improve and mention in our changelog to inform users about the compatible version.
