Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with setting a dynamic date variable in your rich snippets.
You can use the %date% %currentdate% %modified% and other variables as shown in the following screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/LNXpZx
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.
Sorry, but that is not what I’m looking for. I want the snippet preview to include the date where Google would show it, preferably as an option. Currently it’s not included and therefore the 920px suggestion is wrong. This is what I’m looking for in the snippet preview: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/appearance/publication-dates
Google shows the date, RankMath doesn’t.
Hello,
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience.
I would like to state first that Google grabs the publication date somewhere in your theme content and Rank Math doesn’t have control over how the date is shown on the SERP, it’s up to Google if they wish to display it. That is why we didn’t add a date in the snippet preview.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
