404 only for categories

    Hi guys,

    Could you please help me with the following issue:
    404 error but only for categories

    page, post sitemap working perfect.

    What I did:
    – WP dashboard/ settings/ permalink clicked update
    – also re-created the sitemap (reset the settings in Rank Math)

    But nothing changed.

    Can you please tell me what else can I do?

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    Please check if:

    1. Your categories have posts inside them.
    2. The categories aren’t marked as noindex.
    3. The Category sitemap is enabled at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings.
