    Rank Math free

    Hello,
I write content for my blog using Surfer SEO program aiming to maximize SEO ranking. You probably know the content score of that program.
I have started setting up my blog and I have installed rank math SEO to optimize the posts.
I recently upload my first article to the blog which had a content score of 78 at Surfer SEO. When I first edited the article to the wordpress admin page, rank math score showed 66/100.
That difference raised a question in my mind, but I continued to improve other parameters of rank math. Improving many of these, the score reached 85/100!
Then I clicked the “Content AI” and after the analysis it showed a score 29/100!
    So, here are my questions:
    1. What is the difference between content score at Surfer SEO and the score of “Content AI” of rank math? Are these scores directly comparable?
And if there are comparable, why is there a big difference at the above case?
    2. What is difference between the score that is appeared in the upper right corner (85/100 in my case) at rank math and the score that is calculated at “Content AI” (29/100 in my case)?
And a final question. I assume that both programs do almost the same job, with rank math to analyze more parameters (like external links). So, is it worth to pay for both or with one (rank math I suppose) can I do my job perfectly?
    Thanks in advance
    Panagiotis

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    1. Rank Math and Surfer SEO are two platforms performing different tasks. Surfer is more focused on the contents and content generation, whereas Rank Math is a full-fledged On-page SEO plugin.

    2. You can check our documentation about the comparison between Rank Math’s content analysis score and Content AI score in this link:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/seo-score-vs-content-ai-score/

With the Content AI feature of Rank Math, we give full-scale intelligent suggestions based on data collected through various sources using proprietary algorithms. We then use our own AI to offer more relevant suggestions you should be using in your content based on what is currently ranking for that keyword.

Content AI analyzes and provides you with useful data such as:

    – Word count, link count, heading count, and media count based on what is currently ranking for the analyzed keyword
    – Relevant keywords to use, their Ad competition, CPC, and Search Volume
    – Related questions to answer and external links you can add to your content

Content AI also goes above and beyond to suggest data you can place in your content and meta tags, making your content creation process effortless.

Further, useful data like Ad Competition, Volume, and CPC for keywords are clearly marked and distinct, so you don’t need to switch tabs or use any external tool, for that matter.

You can have a look at this guide for a complete reference on the features offered under Content AI:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-use-content-ai/

So, if you can write the content and optimize it following the recommendations of Rank Math, you might not need tools like Surfer SEO. We suggest you check the features of the tools and decide based on your requirements.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
