It seems like Google updated the title in between you added the shortcode filter to the website and the shortcode to the title itself. During that course, the actual [year] shortcode would have shown in the SEO Title and thus Google updated that accordingly.
As the year is correctly rendering now, please clear your website’s cache and give Google some time to crawl the website again, and hopefully, the title would get updated accordingly.
