Meta Description and SEO Analysis

    Hello,

I have just installed RankMath today, and I am doing some initial tests. One test is how I can change the meta description on the Home page.

Now I have successfully entered a new meta description from within my editing of my Home page. So after having clicked the button “Edit Snippet”, and also edited the title tag, the Preview says the following:

    https://chrisbocay.com/
    Home – Chris Bocay
Master the Law of Attraction with Chris Bocay’s no-nonsense approach.
Improve your health, happiness, and well-being gradually, step by step.

And when I check in the source code for that page I find:

<!– Search Engine Optimization by Rank Math – https://s.rankmath.com/home –>
    <title>Home – Chris Bocay</title>
<meta name=”description” content=”Master the Law of Attraction with Chris Bocay's no-nonsense approach. Improve your health, happiness, and well-being gradually, step by step.”/>

    So far, so good.

But then I run your “SEO Analysis” (Site Check) function to see what it reports. And it says the following:

SEO Description SEO analysis of your page’s meta-description.
Meta description was found and it is 23 characters long.
    (All Website Themes…)

But the string “(All Website Themes…)” is not my meta description. And my meta description is not 23 chars long, but much longer.

The string “(All Website Themes…)” is just a string that is somewhere on the page, enclosed in <p> tags:

    <p class=”has-text-align-left”>(All Website Themes…)</p>

So it would be good if you could update your SEO Analyzer, so that it correctly could report what the meta description really is.

    Best wishes!
    Chris Bocay
