“Page Not Found”

    Good Day,

I deleted my previous shop page and created a new once. Since doing so the browser tap now shows “Page Not Found” even though it is opening up the correct page.

The only way I’m able to change it, is if I use the same content I used on the old shop page and when I do that it then removes some function on my page, namely the pagination and infinite scrolling.

    Hoping you can assist.

    Kindest Regards,
    Katherine

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Would you happen to have a caching plugin on your site? If you do please clear your cache and also check if you any have redirections to your old page. Let us know how it goes.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for your response. I’ve cleared my cache many times but it has made no difference.

I’m not entirely sure how to see if there are redirections to my old page, but to my knowledge, there shouldn’t be.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the reply.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Katherine,

    Thanks for the follow up.

It looks like you had not yet set the new page as the shop page on your WooCommerce settings.
I have selected this option for you via WooCommerce > Settings > Products > General and this seems to be working.

Please check and let us know if we can help further.

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for that, however, it has taken away the pagination an infinite scroll settings which is what it was also doing when I was changing the permalink.

Do I need to contact OceanWP, I’m using one of their themes?

    Kindest Regards,

    Katherine

    Hi Katherine,

Yes, you will need to contact your theme provider for any theme/design related queries/issues.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi Todd,

Apologies I missed your reply for some reason.

I just wanted to point out that if I disable RankMath then I don’t seem to have an issue with the theme.

So should I still take it up with the theme provider?

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The login details don’t seem to be working anymore. Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    Looking forward to helping you.
