Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.
Yes, you can use Rank Math PRO to your staging site or live site. Rank Math PRO already supports unlimited personal websites, so you can add/connect them to your current account
Personal websites are the ones you own 100% and not a client website or a partnership with someone. A personal website can be a business, earn you money, and you can even sell it to anyone but it needs to belong to you.
For more information about the difference between those three plans, please check this link:

I hope that helps.
Thank you.
OK, thank you – we are trying to connect our logged-in account to our WordPress in staging (at https://dev1.xtramagazine.com/).
However, when going to Rank Math in WordPress and then “Help,” under “Account,” when I click the “Connect” button and the pop-up window to “OK, Activate Now,” it loops back without connecting the account in WordPress. Am I missing something?
Hello,
Please head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General, and make sure that the “WordPress Address” and “Site Address” have the same setup.
Meaning both URLs have the same exact protocols. They should be matching and not have a mismatch.

Let us know how it goes.
We look forward to helping you.
Yes, the WordPress address (https://dev1.xtramagazine.com) matches to the Site Address (URL); I saved the setting again just to re-apply, but no luck… What else could it be?
Hello,
Please check with your web host if the ModSecurity
feature is enabled on your server as it is possible that it blocks the connection of your website to your Rank Math account. If yes, please disable it and see if that fixes the issue.
If the issue still persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Thank you.
