google can not read sitemap

    Hello,

    Google can not read the entire sitemap Rank Math creates on https://www.rassehunde-lexikon.de/

    I have followed the steps in your tutorial to reset the sitemap by increasing the number but without success.

    I have already reported this through the FB group but my post got rejected.

    Any idea?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I have checked your sitemap which is loading and validating properly.

    For initial troubleshooting, please follow these steps:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    Then, remove the sitemaps from Search Console and add sitemap_index.xml again and wait for Google to crawl the sitemap.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your prompt response. I have followed the instructions but the sitemap is not getting updated.

    There is no cache installed.

    Please see screenshots attached.

    What else can I do?

    Hello,

    I checked the sitemap URLs with https://httpstatus.io/, and two variations of the sitemap are returning 200 status.

    Please follow this guide and redirect to a final variation:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/couldnt-fetch-error-google-search-console/#num-5-4-redirect-all-three-other-versions-to-your-preferred-variation

    Once done, clear your website cache and remove all the sitemaps and submit the sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console.
