sitemap can’t be found

    Hi there. I have recently installed the Rank Math plugin on my WordPress 6.0.1-en_CA website. Upon enabling the Sitemap switch in the dashboard, whenever I go to visit the xml I receive a “The page can’t be found.” message.

    https://www.rustygriswold.ca/sitemap.xml redirects to …sitemap_index.xml as it should, but the error is displayed.

    I have adjusted the “Links Per Sitemap” value from 200 to 201, as suggested in the knowledge base. Shortly after, I went to Permalinks under Settings, and clicked Save Changes as instructed as well. It doesn’t make a difference. (My Common Settings for Permalinks is set to ‘Post Name’)

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Please exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Once done, clear your website cache and check the sitemap.
