  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked the affected post and it’s already set to index in the robots meta. The post is also appearing on your sitemap page.

And lastly, the affected post returns a valid Rich Result test: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=LPhJWPFT9q7bTh5Hpowong

Please check for URLs in your Google Search Console and look for any coverage issues so we can identify why Google refuses to index the said post.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

    Hello,

The Discovered – currently not indexed indicates Google has discovered the page, and even wants to crawl the page. But this was expected to cause an overload on the site, hence Google has rescheduled the crawl.

As a result, Google may delay this crawl for several days after it has been discovered and the crawl status would remain empty until then.

Here’s a link for more information:

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

all but 3-4 posts are no index – here is a video of my robot txt

    Hello,

Your robots.txt file is correct. I’ve checked few post’s source code and it’s already set to index in the robots meta.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the troubleshooting and edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I could not find why your posts are displaying noindex when they are in fact set to index.

As a test fix I set the latest post to noindex, then set it back to index within the post editor Rank Math advanced options. Doing the above reset the status and made it display correctly.

To reset the meta robots status on the rest of your posts you can do a bulk export to a CSV file (spreadsheet table), set all posts (rows) to ‘noindex’. import the new CSV, edit the CSV again and set all rows to ‘index’ then reimport the final CSV. The import/export feature is available in Rank Math PRO but you can use free plugins like WP All Import and WP All Export

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

    Hello,

Our latest update fixed the visual bug and everything is working properly now.

The data on the front end of the website was correct from the beginning as it was just a visual bug in the backend. However, after the update, we’ve tested your website and everything works properly now.

Could you please confirm this on your end?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you.
