Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
It’s fine if there’s only one archive page at the top of your sitemap. Google can easily find the translated archive page through the alternate hreflang links.
One of the accepted ways to tell Google about the localized versions of the page is via the HREF lang tag as you can see from this article:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/localized-versions
I hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hi Reinelle,
Thanks for the feedback.
This issue is that the sitemap is used for preloading the pages via a cache plugin (WP rocket). Since those pages are not in there, they are not preloaded.
Is there a way to get them included?
KR,
Jens.
Hello,
Depending on your translation plugin, WP Rocket should be able to preload cache for translations. You can check the following article for more information: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/76-using-translation-multilingual-plugins
If you still need to add translations to the sitemap, you will need to customize the filter provided on the following page to suite your needs and insert it in your (child) theme functions.php file: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#add-extra-urls-in-sitemap.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.
Hi Nigel,
thanks for your feedback.
Your second link helped me out to add the necessary urls to the sitemap.
Thanks a lot! Ticket can be closed.

Jens.
