sitemap_index.xml keeps deleting in our website using Rank Math

    Dear Rank Mart Support team,

    Im Bence from Hungary and our website is https://diamondart.hu . We installed Rank Math to the website (we use this tool on different websites and works very well) and generate the sitemap with the WordPress plugin. The sitemap is okay for the first 1-2 days but after than it suddenly disappears and redirect us to 404 page. ( https://diamondart.hu/sitemap_index.xml )

    We try everything but the sitemap keeps “deleting” every single time.

    What can be a solution? If you want, we can give you a WP admin user.

    Thank you for contacting the support and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    Please follow the below steps and see if that helps:
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Clear your website and browser’s cache and check the sitemaps again.

    Thanks for the help! We did this method 2 times since your reply but the sitemap keeps deleting somehow. Do you have any other idea how to solve it?

    Hello,

    Please add the below filter to the website:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

    You can follow this guide to add the filter:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    Once done, please perform step 1 from my previous reply and see if that fixes the issue.
