GA4 – Ecommerce tracking

    Rank Math free

    Hi support,

I recently connected my site to google analytics 4 using your plugin (connected and installed analytics code).

Everything works well, but with the transition to the new GA4, e-commerce tracking stopped showing.
And I know that this is normal, and that in the new analytics 4 you need to configure everything manually, which I tried to do.

In the tag manager, I created a new tag (see attachment) for the purchase event.
And in the preview mode, everything seems to work fine – the tag is connected on all pages, but Google Analytics does not show anything (in a debug view).

My question – is this something to do with Rank Math?
Because I know that Rank Math doesn’t have event tracking features.

Do I need to additionally install a Google tag on my site, besides to what RankMat has already done, so that my e-commerce analytics start to work?

Please help, as I don’t understand where to look for a solution to this problem.

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the unexpected delays and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Since Rank Math does not support Google Tag Manager yet, you can deactivate our Analytics module (which you already did) and use an alternative way to apply the tag and the analytics tracking code. Once you disable our Analtyics module, all GSC and GA tracking is removed.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
