    Hi,

I want to see which images are included in the sitemap and which information is shared.
I am not happy with just seeing a number.
    How can I do this?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

You can view the URL of the images included in your sitemap upon checking its source code. Here’s a link on how to do that using Google Chrome:

It should look like this upon viewing

    Source

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hey Reinelle,

    thanks for your support.

Unfortunately, I find that the image integration in the sitemap is very very poor.
The image of a punctuation mark whose setting of “do not list in the sitemap” I´ve just checked is listed three times. Any suggestions?

    Hello,

We created our sitemap using a standardized format that is widely used by other sitemap tools. Could you please share a screenshot and which “punctuation mark” are you referring to?

You may also share your website URL or the affected sitemap URL so we can take a closer look from our and further share some advice.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hey,

so the image is excluded from being in the sitemap, but you´ll find it six times in the post map.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, the screenshot you shared doesn’t seem to be loading on my end. I tried enabling my VPN and the image still won’t load.

You mentioned that it is a quotation mark that is being added to the sitemap and I tried checking it on the page source of the sitemap and I wasn’t able to find any. The integration of images into the sitemap seems fine. Can you try re-uploading the screenshot so we can further determine your issue in detail?

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

The name of the file is quotation-white.svg
The screenshot simply shows that the option to exclude it from the sitemap is set correctly.

    Regards,
    Silke
