Multilingual canonical tag

    Im using Translatepress for a multilingual website. And i dont find the way to control canonical tags.
    I only have the option to add one canonical tag for the default language. But when you visit another language url, the canonical still points to the default language. I would like to set canonical to the same language url

    Is there any way to control this?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with setting canonicals for TranslatePress.

    For multilingual sites, the individual languages do not need assigned a canonical tag. TranslatePress will automatically assign hreflang tags for all the alternate versions of the page/post. You can read more here: https://translatepress.com/hreflang-wordpress/
