Changes are not getting saved – For published or the articles in draft

Hi,
After the wordpress and plugin update, I am not able to save any changes.

Whether it’s a featured image or title or anything else- nothing is getting saved.

In the console, I see the following error.

api-fetch.min.js?ver=63050163caffa6aac54e9ebf21fe0472:2
GET https://www.mydomain.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta/?_locale=user 404

Please let me know how to fix it- it’s causing me great trouble.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please try to use the default .htaccess configuration? Kindly follow the default .htaccess configuration shown in this guide: https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/

You can create a copy of your current .htacess file for backup before switching to the default .htacess.
