Unable to connect Rank Math to Google Account

    Hi,

    My Rank Math username is namma driver.

    I have installed Rank Math on my website https://nammadriver.com and performed the following steps:

    1. Added a new property for my domain to Google Search Console

    2. Did Google Search Console verification done through Rank Math (Rank Math > General Settings > Webmaster Tools)

    However, while connecting Rank Math to my Google Account, I observed a blank entry in the site option for Search Console and Analytics. Please see the screenshot at Screenshot of empty site field.

    To solve this, I reconnected my Google account and provided all the required permission as per details given in https://rankmath.com/kb/delete-old-analytics-data/#remove-access. Despite several attempts the issue still persists and I am unable to see my domain in the site option for Search Console and Analytics.

    Please guide me on how to resolve this.

    Hello,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention and apologies for the inconvenience caused.

    Could you please check whether the email address that you are using to verify the site is listed as the property owner on your search console?

    Also, please make sure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    You can also try using the Google Site Kit if it still won’t work and disable the Search Console inside Rank Math by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard (disabling the module is like disabling the entire code related to that module, so your site won’t get slow).

    Thanks for your response.

    Please note the following:

    1. The email address that I used to verify the site is listed as the property owner on my search console i.e., n*************@g********

    2. I verified my website on the Google Search Console using the domain property i.e., nammadriver.com

    3. I would like to avoid using the Google Site Kit as it had slowed down my other websites in the past.

    By the way I just now checked Rank Math and can see the following entry populated in the Site field in the Search Console section (Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics): sc-domain:nammadriver.com

    I have also managed to connect Rank Math with Google Analytics.

    Not sure how they happened because I haven’t made any changes since I raised this ticket 🙂

    I think it’s all sorted now and we can close the ticket.

    I will now submit the Sitemap to Google Search Console through Rank Math and work upon SEO optimsation. Is there anything else that you would recommend me to do regarding Rank Math?
