SEO: Not Available

    Hi.

    I’ve recently installed Rank Math and have had the issue of getting an error message saying “SEO: Not available” on some of my posts now.

    Not sure if this also happened before the newest update or not :/

    Am I doing something wrong to get this message?

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Yes, I’m using the latest version of all my plugins and the theme.

    The thing is it worked fine at first, even for the posts that now say “SEO: Not available”. That’s why I’m wondering if something happened when I updated the Rank Math plugin a few days ago.

    I’ve deactivated all plugins that I can (can’t do it for WPML, my translating plugin as that will mess up my site) and the issue seems to come from the Classic Editor plugin.

    The problem is still there although not on all my posts. Just a few.

    Can you check in the drafs the post called “25 platser att besöka i Östergötland”? It’s the first one in the drafts.

    This seems to be related to the use of focus keywords that have special characters such as “Östergötland”.

    I have submitted these findings to our dev team for closer investigation and we will be getting back to you in a short while.

    I have a published post where my focus keyword is “Clarion Hotel Arlanda” and it happens on that post as well.

    It does seem to work well when I disabled the Classic Editor plugin though. For all those posts.

    Hi Helena,

    1. Your website is taking ages to load for me. Your server resources might be too low.

    2. Some of the pages in the backend stop loading midway suggesting a memory timeout issue.

    3. On the posts where you are getting the not available issue, there is some HTML tag not closed properly. I can’t even switch to the Text tab on those posts:
    null

    You might want to consider switching to the Block Editor to get around this issue if you don’t know how to troubleshoot improper HTML usage issues.

    1) I’m aware of that, thanks for pointing it out. I’ve just upgraded my webhosting to a faster server.

    2) A memory timeout issue, is that related to a slow server?

    3) I hadn’t realized that, but you are correct. However, if I deactivate the RankMath plugin – the issue disappears and I can switch to the Text tab without any problems. Which is why I think it’s a MathRank problem? I’ve never had this issue before when I used Yoast SEO.

    2) A memory timeout issue, is that related to a slow server?
    It is likely that you are using a memory intensive theme or one of your installed plugins is draining the available memory. It is always recommended to run only the essential plugins and thus you should disable some of your installed plugins if they are not adding any special functionality layer to your WP.

    3). Switching the tab works for me but the behavior but with some lags. I can suggest that you manually disable plugins to isolate the plugin that is causing the problem.

    1) I’ve done some troubleshooting and memory doesn’t seem to be the problem at all. But that’s not your problem anyway, but thanks for letting me know your thoughts.

    2) I have disabled the plugins to isolate the problem and it’s Rank Math that seems to be the issue like I said before. When I disable Rank Math everything works fine with the tabs and everything. But doesn’t seem like we’re getting anywhere here so I might just switch back to Yoast if it keeps being a problem. Thank you anyway!
