Could you please head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [CPT] and ensure that the category is already selected in Primary Taxonomy?

You have set Game News as the Primary Term. If you want to show Nintendo in the Breadcrumbs, select Nintendo in the Show Primary Term dropdown:

Nintendo is under the Games heading. If I put the primary with Games, the breadcrumb becomes games / nintendo and no longer Game news. Should I convert Nintendo, into a tag?

Since the Games News and Nintendo are two different categories, only the one you select as the primary category will be added in the breadcrumbs. If you want to show both Game News and Nintendo in the breadcrumbs, you will have to make Nintendo a subcategory of the Game News category. The breadcrumbs should show the actual path of the page. That’s why having two different parent categories is not recommended and you should only show the primary category and its sub/parent category(if any).

Nintendo has become a tag. In this way, it can be both Games and Game News. And I solve the breadcrumbs problem.
The only unknown is that both Games and Game News from Nintendo now appear in the tags. It might not be bad both in terms of SEO (I hope so) and for users. I will not add any more Nintendo Game News. I will update the existing one.
