    Rank Math business

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

    Hi,

I completed the steps in #1 multiple times.

I’ve also confirmed there is no server cache with my hosting company. There also isn’t a cache plugin, and I’m not using cloudflare.

    This page loads: https://benefitsclaim.com/sitemap_index.xml

It’s just the page and post specific sitemaps that go to a 404 page.

    Hello,

Can you please apply this filter code to your theme’s functions.php file?

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

After doing so, please repeat step #1 from the steps my colleague previously provided and see if the issue persists.

If it does persist, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

My website uses Oxygen as the theme – there is no functions.php file.

There is this option they offer but I wasn’t sure if it would work the same so I held off: https://oxygenbuilder.com/documentation/code/alternatives-to-functions-php/

    Thanks for checking into it,
    Ryan

    Hello,

I checked and figured out that the rule given below in your .htaccess file was causing the issue:

    RewriteRule ^.*(sitemap\.xml)$ stone.php.php?sitemap=xml [L,S=10000]

I have removed it from the .htaccess file and now your post and page sitemaps are working fine:

Please check and let us know if you need any other assistance.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
