    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    1. The Indexed, Not Submitted in Sitemap is not an issue, it only means that Google has already indexed the posts but not through the sitemap.

It is possible that Google is crawling your website and indexing the posts through the internal links on your website and not through the sitemap, and as a result, the crawl budget for your website is exhausted and Google is not able to discover the URLs through your sitemap.

There is nothing to worry about as long as the posts/pages are getting crawled and indexed.

    2. The alternate page with the proper canonical tag error indicates Google has recognized this page as a duplicate of a canonical. There is nothing to worry about, it’s just a notice from Google as the main pages get indexed, and the google bot found the two URLs of the same canonical that’s the reason one page gets indexed and one page gets excluded.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply,

Regarding the second question, since the issue concerned by All the AMP versions, does it mean Google consider AMP pages as duplicate of the main pages? Is not it conflicted since Google advices to use AMP on a website?

    Hello,

It is advised to use AMP but that doesn’t mean that both AMP and Non-AMP versions of the same page would get indexed on the SERPs.

The canonical URL of the AMP version of a page usually is the Non-AMP version. Here’s a guide with more details: https://rankmath.com/blog/canonical-urls/#:~:text=Canonicalization%20for%20AMP%20Pages

Hence, if you’re seeing the notice for the AMP pages, it is totally normal and there’s nothing to be worried about. You can have a look at this tutorial by AMP for WP for a quick reference: https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/article/alternate-page-with-proper-canonical-tag/

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
