Google will not be able to access the sitemap as your site is in maintenance mode. You should submit your sitemap only when your site is publicly accessible.

Thank you for your advice. I will do as you say. One more question.. Should I delete the sitemap that I uploaded and then after I have disabled the maintenance mode submit a new sitemap, or not? Thanks in advance.
