Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
The addition of ALT texts to images is done dynamically, and the actual ALT texts of the images do not change. That means that if you change these settings and go inside the WordPress gallery, the images will still not have any ALT text. But if you check the ALT text on an actual post, you will find it, as Rank Math applies the ALT text at runtime.
Hope this clarifies your doubts. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need any other assistsance.
thank you.
How to check if ALT TEXT is applied on a website?
It appears when you hover your mouse over the image.
Is it “square and text on a white background”?
Hello,
You can access your browser’s inspect element and check the <img /> tag, you should be able to check here if the alt attribute is applied. Please see the example screenshot in the Sensitive Data section.
I also submitted your website to our external SEO Analyzer and the alt tags were applied as well.
If the issue is occurring in a specific URL, please share that affected URL so we can further check it from our end.
Looking forward to helping you on this one.
