WooCommerce variable products vs. SEO

    Hello,
    I am thinking of buying your plugin, and I need to ensure that one functionality is covered, which is critical for me.

    I need to create several products which almost te same name but one little difference in it.

    Ex:
    Bottle of water 100 ml
    Bottle of water 250 ml
    Bottle of water 750 ml
    Bottle of water 1 l
    Bottle of water 2 l
    Bottle of water 5 l

    …and so on.

    Yes, I realise this is typical variable product…
    But my keyword research tells me that 90% of users searching for water search for “Bottle of water 5 l”. To have good optimised product for ranking on this phrase I should place it as a Title, in a Description, in H1, and so on… And this is not possible in variable product. Variable product solves the problem with duplicate description (all waters have the same), but has the same URL, same title, same description etc.

    Does the plugin solves this issue somehow or I just need to create simple products for each to cover specific optimization or one of two of them?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with your product variations titles.

    Rank Math does not have a feature to customize individual product variation titles. I did a quick search and found a discussion that might help: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/changing-the-product-title-variation-dynamically/. However, you might also need to make sure search engines can crawl a unique URL for each variation.

    Using WooCommerce simple products would be an easier solution and should give similar results as search engines will treat unique variation pages similarly to simple product pages with regards to duplicate content. ie while the variation has a unique title most of the product page will still be duplicated.
