Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
If you are using the filter to add title as the focus keyword then it should be recognized in the SEO title of your post considering your SEO title has the exact same term as the post title in it.
You will have to edit and update the post to re-run the content analysis and generate a new SEO score after adding the focus keyword using the filter.
If the keyword is not getting recognized by the content analysis then please share the URL of an affected post and the focus keyword that you are using on it so we can check and assist you further.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi 🙂
So I have to edit and update over 1000 posts to make it work properly? 😮
That will take forever…
Well I can share a link with you, with an effected post, where the it doesnt recognize the focus keyword as the same as the post title, even though it is: https://www.vocalhunt.com/acapellas/24kgoldn-city-of-angels/
Best regards
Jacob
Hello,
Unless the posts are optimized for the added focus keyword, there is practically no use in adding the keywords. However, if your old posts are already performing well on the SERPs, you can avoid optimizing them and continue working on the newer ones.
I checked the URL you shared and it seems like you’ve not applied the Article Schema, hence we’re unable to check the keyword.
If you want us to have a closer look, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I was able to replicate the issue on your site. The SEO tests are not loading on most of the posts in the Acapellas post type. I have forwarded this to the devs and will get back to you soon with an update.
Also, I wasn’t able to find the filter to add the title as the focus keyword in your functions.php file. Can you please confirm where you have added the filter?
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi Jaideep,
Yeah I added it inside the functions.php, but I guess the script was deleted after a theme update? Nonetheless it was still triggered and added the focus keywords to everything 🙂
Hello,
There is some character encoding issue on your site. The Content Analysis is not able to detect the keyword in the title because the dash you added in the keyword is encoded. Please check the screencast I added in the Sensitive Data Section.
I have now updated the keyword in the post you shared and that seemed to have fixed the issue. Can you please confirm?
I hope that helps.
Ahh, I see – that’s weird. Is there a way to fix this by bulk replacing? 😅
Best regards
Jacob
Hello,
You can bulk edit your focus keywords from the SEO Details column:

However, you will still have to edit and update the posts to generate the new SEO score.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thanks.
