ThirstyAffiliates links not counted as external

    HI there,

    I’m using ThirstyAffiliates for affiliate links. In de SEO analysis on posts and pages it doesn’t detect the affiliate links as external links. Links are setup as follows:

    https://www.mysite.com/link/affiliate-link-name

    In Rankmath under General Settings / Links/ Affiliate Link Prefix I added: /link/

    Why does it still not detect my links as external.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    The Affiliate Link Prefix option will refrain Rank Math from detecting them as internal links on your site since you’re using cloaked affiliates.

    However, could you please confirm if you’re using a page builder on your site? If so, please share it so we can check as well. Also, are you using shortcode to add the content, especially the affiliate links?

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    Ok so it prevents it from being counted as internal links but thatdoesn’t make them count automatically as external?

    Ivam not using a pagebuilder and using links to add these links no shortcodes
