Add custom dynamic pages that created with plugin to sitemap - Support

Hi we have poll pages that needed to add to sitemap. Like this one https://sondakikahaberleri.news/anket/erzurum-demet-say-komec-ozgurluk-anketi/ this pages created with plugin not wordpress post or pages. Rankmath instant indexing working but i want to do it dynamically.

Here is what i try

add_action( 'rank_math/sitemap/post_content', function() { return '<url> <loc>'. get_site_url() .'/anket/</loc> <lastmod>2022-01-15T20:20:20+00:00</lastmod> </url>'; });

i put this code on child-theme/rank-math.php

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the unexpected delays and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please follow these steps?

1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

After doing so, please check the sitemap again and see if the URL you wish to add is added there.

Thanks for response. But didn’t work exactly. Added to sitemap as https://sondakikahaberleri.news/anket/ but i need seperate links for every page like https://sondakikahaberleri.news/anket/asd1 not sure if possible.

Hello,

You will have to hire a developer to modify the filter for you and create a loop to add all the dynamic URLs in the sitemap.

However, it is not recommended to add so many URLs in your sitemap and it is also not recommended to get the dynamically-generated URLs indexed as it is just going to exhaust your crawl budget and can create problems with the ranking of your actual post/page URLs.

If you still want to add the URLs to the sitemap then please hire a developer as further customization of the filter falls out of the scope of our support.
