Rank Math clear WP Super Cache’s cache

    My WooCommerce store recently switched from Yoast SEO to Rank Math, and I found an issue, When I add a new product, rank math will clear all WP super cache’s cache

    At first, I didn’t know what caused the cache to be deleted, so I disabled all the plugins and enabled them one by one to test whether the cache would be deleted, the result shows that when Rank Math is enabled, the cache of WP Super cache will be Cleared when adding a product, when I disable Rank Math and then add a products, the cache will not be cleared.

    I tested Rank Math on 3 sites and confirmed that this happens on all 3 sites

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with WP supercache automatically clearing every time you save a product.

    I was able to replicate the issue. See screencast in sensitive data.

    I could not determine why cache was cleared when a post is saved have asked a developer to investigate further.

    Hello,

    The cache in fact needs to be cleaned when a product is saved, because the XML sitemaps are usually cached by WP Super Cache, and they need to be re-generated.

    I have taken note of this, and we will discuss this internally with the dev team, because it may be possible to restrict the cache regeneration to only affect the sitemap files (it depends on WP Super Cache’s API functions). If we make any changes to this part of the plugin in an upcoming update, we will let you know by replying to this ticket.

    For now, if this cache invalidation issue causes problems on your site, I can only recommend you to disable the Sitemap module in Rank Math.
