Hebrew URL isn’t recognized

    Hi,
My site publishes job postings in Hebrew, hence their URLs include Hebrew characters.
After performing any of the three actions using instant indexing plugin, on any URL with Hebrew characters included, you can see from the attached response, that it strips the Hebrew characters from the URL (In the example visible to you, only dashes are left. The Hebrew characters denoted by their code are stripped off).
I’d like to know whether the URL is sent properly to google, or from some reason it is sent without the Hebrew characters. If so, what’s the fix?

    Thanks

    Hi Abner,

Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

We have not specifically tested that so we cannot comment without testing.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

Or, if the URL you are sending is indeed indexed instantly – then you know that the plugin worked and there is nothing to worry about.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Added a link as you asked in the sensitive data section. Should last for 72h, if you need more please let me know.

I have urls with both English and Hebrew characters you can check. I’ll mention I’m interested mostly in urls of what I call “positions” – the job postings of my site (position is a custom post type, I put schema.org “job posting” in each position).
You can find all the positions through this page:
    https://optimum-hr.co.il/%d7%97%d7%99%d7%a4%d7%95%d7%a9-%d7%9e%d7%a9%d7%a8%d7%95%d7%aa-%d7%91%d7%a6%d7%a4%d7%95%d7%9f/
(I have disabled archive for positions so you can test different positions through this page.)

Let me know if you found something,
    Thanks

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I am afraid that the access is very limited and I could not access the instant indexing plugin. Please elevate the access to an administrator so that we can test this further.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi,
Do you need any additional information? Were you able to spot the problem?
    Thanks

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I have checked this but the shortened URLs in the raw response will not be submitted in this state. The SERP results are free of these kind of errors and thus you do not have to worry about this.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

If I understand correctly, you stated that the hebrew words are omitted from the URL that google indexes.
However, I’ve placed the hebrew words on purpose, so that google will index the page based also upon the words in the URL, which are meaningful keywords.
So, I DO NOT want the hebrew words to be omitted from the URL. That was the issue from the beginning.
Is there a way to keep the hebrew words? (My competitors do have hebrew keywords embedded within their URLs).
    Thanks
