  • There is no direct way to make your images show up on SERP.
You just have to make sure the pages are following the guidelines here, and the images also follow these guidelines.

When uploading images make sure they have proper titles, alt text, and descriptions, and that the page in question has good content.

You can check the schema of pages using https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/.

By checking that URL you have “https://www.smartrapper.com/should-you-use-beats-that-come-with-hooks-on-them/” in Google’s Rich Results Tester, it is using the Article schema which is included with all versions of RankMath (and is probably already your default).
Most of the included schema’s have a field for the image and will use the post/page/product’s featured image,

    HOWEVER,

For your image to show in Google’s Search like in your example, it is completely up to Google whether they want to display it or not.

Many many things will affect whether the image will show like for example but not just limited to: domain authority, trustworthiness, content, search terms, image quality & size.

Since it’s Google with their algorithm that constantly changes, no one can give you a definitive 1-2-3 step process to it, anything can affect it so your best bet is just making sure the page, content, and image are following their guidelines – I linked these at the beginning.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

You are right, @Silvette, and we appreciate sharing these details.

Please note that it’s entirely up to Google to decide what image to show in the search results. Apart from the schema markup for the primary image, there are other factors such as the site/page authority and context, that Google may take into account to decide whether or not to display an image next to your pages.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
