    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

No, you do not need to connect to API, Rank Math automatically generates an API key for your website and serves it to the search engines.

Please refer to this guide to learn more about IndexNow:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-use-indexnow/

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Thanks for replying. My url is not live on Bing. What can I do now?

    Hello,

Could you please share the URL of your website so we can check?

Alternatively, you can follow these tutorials on how to verify your website with Bing Webmaster tools and How to submit and How to submit your sitemap to Bing

    Hello,

    Sorry for the confusion.

I checked your website on Bing and a total of 68 URLs are indexed:

Bing last crawled your website on April 5th, 2022:

However, while checking the sitemaps, I noticed that your post sitemap contains 2450 URLs. Here’s a screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/bI4iXF

It is easier for search engines to crawl sitemaps with fewer URLs. The default value that we give is 200 URLs per sitemap, but you can set the value under 1000. You can change the “Links Per Sitemap” from Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > General.

Also, upon testing the variations of the sitemap with https://httpstatus.io/, I found that all the variations are returning 200 status. Here’s a screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/bU2PmL

Except for the preferred variation (which should return only a 200 status), all the non-preferred variations of the website should redirect to the preferred variation and return a 301 and 200 status.

Please follow the steps in this link:
https://rankmath.com/kb/couldnt-fetch-error-google-search-console/#num-5-check-for-the-correct-version-of-the-sitemap and redirect to the correct variation.

You can also get in touch with your web host regarding this.

Once done, please follow the below steps and see if that helps:
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Clear your website’s cache and remove all the sitemaps from your Bing Webmasters account, and then submit only the main sitemap: /sitemap_index.xml.

Further, give Bing some time to crawl your website again to see the new URLs.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

Thanks for trying to solve my problem. But my website has indexed 68 out of 2450 URLs which is very low. Solve it. And there is no option to add Bing api rankmath. I am very disappointed let me solve it.

    Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience. As explained by my colleague, there have been some issues with your sitemap page that needs to be addressed. Once you resolve it, especially the Sitemap variation, you can resubmit it to Bing’s Console Dashboard and see if it starts indexing your URLs.

As for your API issue, please go to Rank Math > Instant Indexing > IndexNow API settings > API Key > Change key.

Then, clear the website cache and try submitting URLs.

Please do let us know how that goes.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

I will wait 3 days. And I will come back to you with the update.
Thanks for trying to help https://mrreviewbuzz.com/
