Hi,
In the google search console, I see lot of pages are indexed with the following URLs –https://www.mydomain.com/category/guides/page/10/
Can someone help me block these URLs in robots.txt or at least tell me how can I fix it or where to look for a fix?
For now, I have added the following code in robots.txt, let me know if that will help or not
Disallow: /page/
or should I add Disallow: */page/*
not sure what’s the difference between these two options. Please help me block this page thing and the parameter URLs. It’s affecting my traffic.

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
If you’re using Disallow: /page/ rule, it will only affect that URL. On the other hand, Disallow: */page/* covers all your URLs which has a /page, and all URLs after the trailing slash.
To set your paginated pages to noindex using Rank Math, please follow these steps:
https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-noindex-paginated-pages/Once done, revalidate the error in your Google Search Console account and give Google some time to recrawl your site.
