Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
We have identified an issue in the recent update of the plugin with some redirections on client websites and we have already reported this to the dev team.
Until the team has a chance to get a fix out for this we recommend rolling back the plugin to the previous version by using this tutorial: https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#native-rollback
Thank you for your time and patience while we correct this issue.
Thanks, Miguel, I have followed your advice and rolled back to the previous version but unfortunately, the Regex Redirected links are still not working.
Could you please tell me how long it may take to fix the issue as this is a major problem and thousands of website owners might have been facing it thus it must be your big concern right now?
Hello,
Please remove the initial trailing slash from the source URL so that it reads something like this, for example:
notes/(.*)
Let us know if that helps solve the issue.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Hi, wow this trick worked for all the regex. However, the old way was working earlier but all of sudden it stopped. If I hadn’t checked I didn’t even know about the Regex issue. I think there should be some sort of indication feature regarding whether the redirection is working or not.
Hello,
I am glad that it is now working on your end and thank you so much for your input.
Currently, if a certain redirection rule isn’t met, the redirection simply won’t trigger at that point.
With that said, please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
