How do I figure out which new post type (e-landing page) this message is referring to? And how do I fix it? I haven’t intentionally added a new post type.

    Seeing the following message:

We detected new post type(s) (e-landing-page) and you would want to check the settings of Titles & Meta page and the Sitemap.

I’ve gone into the Titles & Meta page but I can’t tell what RankMath is referring to.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

The new post type is the e-landing page. You can check the settings for this post type in the Titles & Meta settings.

Rank Math shows that notification whenever it detects a new post type on your website. You can click on the x button and clear the notification.

You can check this link for more information:

    Hope that helps.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hi,

Thanks but where do I find the new -e-landing page that it’s referring to? I haven’t added any new pages. I would like to see what the message is referring to and fix it or get rid of whatever page it’s talking about.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta and under the “Post Types” section, can you please check if the “e-landing” post type is listed here?

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

Thanks very much for your help. I’ve checked and the e-landing page type is not listed. I see posts, pages and attachments.

    Hello,

Can you please let us know where that CPT is created? If the CPT is created by your theme provider, you would need to check this one with them and ask how the CPT is created as Rank Math only lists CPTs that are created with WordPress’s standard.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks. What is CPT?

    Hello,

Sorry if I was not clear in my previous reply.

CPT is Custom Post Type. The default post type you have once you first install WordPress are Pages, Posts, and Attachments. In WordPress, you can create custom post types using other plugins that have that feature or it may come built-in from some themes.

Basically, post types is a term used to refer to different types of content in a WordPress site.

Rank Math detects all posts types and custom post types that are registered on your website, if Rank Math can’t detect it, it is probably created without WordPress standards.

If you still aren’t sure about it, we can inspect this over your admin dashboard instead. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
