    Rank Math free

Hi, I’m running an e-commerce website and using your free plan.

Recently, my search console send me an error that shows my product archive page is marked as a “product schema” and has several error like “missing aggregator field, sku, reviews…etc”

The website is built with WP bakery and Rank Math schema setting of the product archive page is just an “Article” not “Product” or “Woo commerce Product”

    1. How can I solve the problem?

    2. Can it be solved, if I change it to Rank Math Pro plan and use item list schema for my product archive page?

I will put my website information on the sensitive data area.
Thanks for your help in advance.

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Product Categories and enable the Remove Snippet Data option. Also make sure that the Remove Schema Markup on Shop Archives option is enabled in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce.

Once done, clear the cache of your site and check again.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Thanks! WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Product Categories was already enabled, but I turned on the Remove Schema Markup on Shop Archives option in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce.

After that, the rich result test shows me no error!
Do I need to enable those two options on every e-commerce website for preventing the same issue?

    Hello,

Yes, you may need to enable those options for your E-commerce websites to avoid schema errors for those pages.

Google recommends disabling the schema to your product category archives/shop page. The Product Schema is only for the actual product and not for anything else.

You can also check this link for more information:

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
