Split: Cant update my meta tags

    I am having the very same issue. It is not with the original poster only.

    But to be clear what I am seeing… the ACTUAL meta description does update on the page itself, but the edited meta description is is not reflected in the preview description while using the admin editor for the page. Instead it just reads “Click to enter custom meta description” and when I click I then see the new meta description I had entered.

    Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    The OP on that other ticket was having a different issue.

    Do you mind sharing what meta description template you are using? Are you testing this on posts?

    I just tested it and it is working perfectly fine for us:
