Yes, the API has to be added by Divi team to make the images you add via their page builder visible to Rank Math.
With that said, this is just a tiny part of what Rank Math does and if you believe you have already added an alt text with the focus keyword, you can simply ignore the test as the tests are like a to-do list more than anything else.

Thanks for that I have contacted elegant to see what their stance is on rankmath and if they intend to add the API as you suggest. Let’s see what happens.
