Shows different results in Wordpress and Elementor edit pages

    Using Rankmath with Elementor Pro and the Ocean WP theme… all plugins are up to date

    I am seeing different results in the RANKmath section of the WordPress edit page which has a score of 66/100

    Whilst in the Elementor edit page under the SEO tab (for the same page) I get a score of 81/100 with different errors.

    in addition, they both state that I need “Add an image with your Focus Keyword as alt text”… and I definitely have an image with the correct alt text.

    Why would they be so different? and more importantly which is the real score?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    This is expected behavior, the score is different when editing within Elementor since the page builder adds sshortcodes to the page and this cannot be analyzed properly as compared to WP post editor.

    The correct score is the one visible on the backend post edit page.

    2). Please clear your site cache and test again. It is likely that the incorrect score is because your pages have been cached.
