Redirections breaking 404

    Hi guys – i’m loving Rank Math and have a bit of a strange one. When we activate redirection manager (and have imported Yoast redirections) things seem to work ok generally, apart from 404’s. We get the error too many redirects message in the browser.

    Activating the redirection debugger it seems to be in an endless loop of redirecting all the time.

    You can test it out by going to http://www.deeperblue.com/404 and see the behaviour.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Could you please check if you have categories that share the same name as some posts? This would cause an infinite loop when the strip category base option is enabled.

    You would need to rename the categories or the posts to prevent the infinite loops.
