    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Please remove the Instant indexing plugin completely and try setting it up again. It is possible that you might have missed some steps.

This is a tried and tested method and we are certain that those instructions work.

Here is the guide for setting up the plugin:
    https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

Here is a video tutorial for your reference:
    https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

We look forward to helping you.

Installing the plugin is very easy. I already did that properly.
Yet, I uninstalled it, cleared the cache, and reinstalled it again.
    But error still same

    Hello,

Please follow this guide to fix the issue:
    https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/#num-6-2-403-permission-denied-failed-to-verify-the-url-ownership

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    @Anas
This doesn’t solve my problem. I checked again according to your link, but My API is correctly installed and the Owner is correctly applied – the email in the search console is also reflected in the plugin.

The error I get is “Error undefined” and the raw response details are
    {
    “readyState”: 4,
    “responseText”: “-1”,
    “responseJSON”: -1,
    “status”: 403,
    “statusText”: “error”
    }

    Hello,

Could you please generate a new JSON Key and insert it in the Indexing API plugin and see if that fixes the issue?
    https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

Let us know how it goes.

We are here to assist you.

I started everything afresh and everything went ok with setup, step-by-step
But when it’s time to use it to index, I get the same error. Even to check the status of my site homepage that’s already indexed, it gives same error.

    BTW,
My own plugin has just 2 tabs, while the image on the website has 4 tabs. Is that the latest version I have? I installed it from thr WP repository and its version Version 1.1.12

    Hello,

Yes, version 1.1.12 is the latest version of the Instant Indexing plugin.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of the Rank Math plugin v1.0.82.1

If you are already using the latest version and the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Are you using any Firewall?

If yes, please disable it and try submitting URLs.

If you are not using any Firewall, please get in touch with your web host and ask them if they are blocking any requests from the plugin.

I tried checking for conflict using the Health Check plugin but it is not working properly on your website.

As the Health Check plugin is not working properly on your website, we’ll have to manually disable the plugins to check the issue.

Alternatively, you can create a staging website and replicate the issue there and share its logins so that we can perform the troubleshooting there and your live website doesn’t get affected by the troubleshooting.

You may follow this article to create the staging website: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

I am not using any firewall, and my host says they don’t have any such in place,

About creating a staging website, I am not quite ready to go that way for now. Maybe some other time

    Hello,

Let us know when you can create a staging site so we can check this further. Also, can you please try submitting the URL using HTTP instead of HTTPS and see if that works?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks.

    How do I do this?

    Anas

    Hello,

Please navigate to Rank Math > Instant Indexing > Console and try submitting the HTTP variation of the URL:
    instant

Let us know how it goes.

We look forward to helping you.

    Same error with HTTP version
